Release into Strength Class

Release into Strength synthesizes Yamuna Body Rolling and Pilates mat repertoire to lengthen and strengthen muscles. We use Yamuna balls of various sizes to stimulate bones and release muscles from the origin to the insertion of the muscle and integrate Yamuna Breath Work techniques to expand lung capacity, and stretch and strengthen from the inside out. Using Pilates Mat repertoire we build exercise progressions that increase in difficulty. There is a special focus on building strength in the core, but each month we focus on lengthening and strengthening a specific part of the body, e.g. the hip, spine, shoulders. Structuring exercises as progressions, moving from easier to more challenging, enables students of all levels to work where they are both challenged and safe.

These classes are in studio and open to people of all levels. Yamuna balls and foam rollers will be provided. Class size is limited to six people in order to enable each student receives lots of individual attention.
